Anniversary

KUTSCHER-PUIS LEGAL was founded in September 2015, after I had practised for 20 years as a lawyer in a large law firm and then in two specialised international law firms in Düsseldorf. Many people asked me why I had decided to leave the “comfort zone” of established law firms. This decision was certainly an expression of my quest for independence. But it was also motivated by the desire to create a law firm with which I could identify absolutely and which reflected my aspirations and my human and professional values:

• providing comprehensive legal advice to foreign companies distributing their products and services in Germany;
• always offering pragmatic and legally secure solutions that do not hinder economic activity;
• collaborating with my business contacts and employees with respect and trust, as equals;
• passing on my knowledge to the younger generation;
• participate in legal debate through legal publications;
• actively engage in promoting relations between French and German lawyers.

Today, I can look back with satisfaction on:

• valuable relationships forged with foreign companies that have successfully established business operations in Germany;
• a trusting cooperation with the international Altios group;
• exclusive membership of the international network of lawyers Lexlink;
• exciting collaboration on the German handbook of distribution law and the German journal of distribution law;
• active participation in the decisions of the Franco-German Lawyers’ Association.

I would like to thank my clients and partners for this wonderful collaboration! I look forward to many more years working alongside them.
